How You Can help

We are always in need of donations, either monetary or supplies; foster families; Thrift Shoppe volunteers; and help around the shelter.

Below, you can find out more about all the different ways you can help. If you have any questions, please call 304-290-4738 for more information.

Donate

We couldn't keep saving lives without the generous support of our members and friends. With your help, we can continue being the voice and refuge for animals in need.

If you'd like to make a monetary donation, it's easy through PayPal. You can also mail us a check at PO Box 1090, Dellslow, WV, 26531.

New Shelter Donations

Our new shelter will be a dream come true, allowing us to save more lives and provide the very best in care while we work to find the loving homes these wonderful animals deserve.

As we navigate the planning and fundraising stage of this new venture, we would be so grateful for your help in taking us one step closer. To provide a monetary donation to the new shelter, you can submit through PayPal or mail a check to PO Box 1090, Dellslow, WV, 26531. For both payment methods, please be sure to note that it's for the new shelter.

Fostering

If you’re not yet ready to adopt, consider fostering.

Volunteer to serve as a foster parent to a litter of kittens or puppies or an adult cat or dog. Animal Friends covers the cost of routine and veterinary care while a pet is in foster care. All animals in foster care receive vaccinations and are heartworm, feline AIDS, and feline leukemia tested.

We're looking for foster parents who can provide temporary, safe, loving homes until permanent homes are found. Foster parents should be available for visits between a pet and potential adopters. This can take place either in the foster parent’s home or at the Sanctuary during Sanctuary hours.
