Introducing Holly 🌷
Holly is a 1-2 year old gorgeous calico lady. This girls is in need of a special indoor only home. She unfortunately tested positive for Feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV). She will need a home as the only cats, or a home with another FIV cat. It’s spread through saliva, primarily by biting, and is not contagious to humans or dogs. Outside of that, her foster says that she’s pretty darn perfect. She loves making biscuits, and is a mellow lady, who would love a lap to curl up in. She has been a relaxed girl, and loves to roll to her back and get belly rubs. Shes petite, pretty, and ready to find her perfect family.
Holly is being brought current on core vaccinations, has been spayed, is being dewormed, has been given monthly flea and tick prevention, and will be microchipped.
Her adoption fee is $115 but any potential adopter still needs an approved adoption application.

Adopting a Pet
To adopt an animal, please fill out an adoption application before visiting the Sanctuary. This speeds up the adoption process. All adoption applications require a reference check from a previous or current veterinarian and other references as needed.

The adoption fee covers all vaccinations, heartworm and feline leukemia/FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) testing, de-worming, and spay or neuter procedure.
Adoption Checklist
So, you think you're ready to adopt a pet? Check out the checklist below.
- Browse available pets on the website.
- Fill out the Adoption Form and submit it.
- Schedule an appointment to visit the shelter and meet your new friend.
- Pay the Adoption Fee.
- Take your new best friend home.
If you choose not to keep your adopted pet, contact Animal Friends at 304-290-4738, and we will make arrangements to re-enter the pet into the foster/adoption program. Your adoption fee is non-refundable.
